Got a question? Let us help.

  • Welcome to our FAQ section! Here, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions our stylists receive. Whether you're a new guest or a returning client, we hope this helps make your experience smooth, and enjoyable.

  • We recommend arriving with clean, dry hair washed the day of your appointment. This allows your stylist to begin the colouring process right away, without needing to wash and dry your hair beforehand. It helps us stay on schedule and ensures your appointment time is used as efficiently as possible.

  • IBE (Invisible Bead Extensions) are hand-tied wefts that are individually secured to the root of the hair using a beaded method. This technique offers a gentle, comfortable application that allows for natural movement and a seamless blend. Unlike tape-in extensions, which rely on adhesive, IBE uses no glue, making it a healthier option for your natural hair. When properly maintained, installations typically last 7 to 10 weeks, depending on the client's hair type and lifestyle.

With appropriate haircare maintenance, IBE hair can last from 6-12 months.

  • We’re thrilled you’re interested in booking a consultation with us!

Please note that we do not offer consultations via phone (call or text) or through social media. All consultations are conducted in person to ensure we fully understand your hair goals and can provide the best recommendations.

We offer consultations for haircuts, colour services, and Invisible Bead Extensions (IBE). There is a $15 consultation fee, which will be credited toward your full service should you choose to book with us.

Our stylists and front-end receptionists are happy to assist you in scheduling a consult!

  • While some colour may last longer than others, no hair colour is truly permanent. Even permanent dye fades over time — it simply does so more gradually than semi-permanent options. The longevity of your colour can vary significantly based on your hair type, condition, and daily routine.

Hair that is damaged or porous tends to lose colour more quickly, as it struggles to retain pigment. Additionally, the products you use, along with how often you wash, style, and heat-treat your hair, all play a major role in how long your colour lasts.

  • While you’re not required to use salon-grade products, we cannot guarantee the longevity of your hair if alternative products are used. Some shampoos, conditioners, and styling products can strip colour and damage hair more quickly, leading to faster fading, breakage, and potentially more frequent salon visits.

To help maintain your colour, cut or IBE and keep your hair healthy, we recommend using the professional products available in the salon. If you’ve invested in high-quality colour, haircuts or IBE, it makes sense to protect that investment with the right home care — helping your results last longer and reducing the risk of long-term damage.

  • We believe in recognizing the skill, education, and experience our stylists bring to their craft. That’s why we use a tiered pricing system, where each stylist's rates reflect their level of expertise.

What does this mean for you?
While all services start with a base price, the final cost may vary depending on the stylist you choose. Pricing starts at the Junior Stylist level and progresses through to Master Stylist, with each tier representing a higher level of training and experience.
